AHS Class of 1962 60th Reunion

Greetings Fellow Moors:

It is that time to get a handle on who will be attending our 60th get together on October 1, 2022, at the Elks Club in Fullerton Ca.

We had to modify our starting time to 3:00 P.M. due to staffing shortage at the BPOE. The committee met at the location on 6/22/2022 and we think it will work well for our event.

For those of you who did not get our original e-mail and snail mail here are the specifics:

• Indoor and outdoor seating for visiting and catching up on sharing how we are all dealing with our       journey to “Cente Anni” (Italian for 100 years!)
• No host bar with beer, wine, Jack Daniels and soft drinks at a reasonable price.
• Casual attire.
• Dinner buffet style around 5-6pm with fish, chicken and a beef carving station.
• Salad, vegies, rolls and desserts of cupcakes and strawberries /chocolate fountain.
• Coffee, iced tea and lemonade included.

Some people have inquired about nearby overnight accommodations. With Fullerton being a college town there are at least 6 choices within 15 minutes of the Elks Club. I will be checking on room rates as I get feedback from interested Moors. As of today, the Doubletree with an internal restaurant and bar may work well for a Friday night informal or a Sunday brunch.
